Chopping Wood

So I live in the city, known fact to most people and I rarely get a chance to really go do any type of work like I was doing this summer. Using my hands, tools and whacking the hell out of stuff, carrying rocks up a hill on my back or artfully placing rocks in cribbing. But this morning presented me with an oportunity to pick up some wedges and a big ole hammer and whack away at some logs. Yeah, so it was only splitting wood, but not only did it feel good to be activly, well, activly being active but it felt good to be using the muscles that I built this summer (and then promptly lost when I got home). While it wasnt alot the guy I was working for hooked me up with another person who may need some wood to be chopped and then also may have more jobs that would require just muscles and no thinking. After all, whats school for? Speaking of which, this past week kicked my ass. I got yelled at for having to much fun in symphony and well, classes were as usual, crappè. Couple that with, uh, some other problems and the fact that my self imposed deadline for college aps is next teusday life been kinda hectic, but hey, what it for anyway.
Heres to chopping wood, college essays and a good rest of the weekend.
